Joseph J. Bancheri
Joseph J. Bancheri, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 1, 1920, in New York City. A resident for 25 years, he was a letter carrier and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Salvatrice; one daughter, Joan Di Blasio, and two sons, Angelo Bancheri and John Bancheri, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Frank Bancheri of New York; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Monday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Sarah Mary Davis
Sarah Mary Davis, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 19, 1915, in Mississippi. A resident for 50 years, she was a self-employed housekeeper.
She is survived by one son, Carl Michael Snowden Sr. of Las Vegas; three sisters, Mamie Tabar of Las Vegas, Carlene McNeal of Dallas and Ola Bullocks of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Monday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Joe C. Dotson
Joe C. Dotson, 80, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Missouri. A resident for six years, he was a retired diesel equipment mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; three daughters, Evelyn Brooks, Peggy Merrill and Debra Hadley, and one son, Robert Dotson, all of Henderson; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.
Joseph Fink
Joseph Fink, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1923, in Los Angeles. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired market owner-operator, a World War II Navy veteran, past commander of Jewish War Veterans Post 65 and past counsel commander of Arizona-Nevada Jewish War Veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Ronae; two daughters, Susan Green and Debra Seidman, both of Agoura Hills, Calif.; one sister, Sylvia Mauss of California; one brother, Eli Finklestein of Culver City, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Monday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.
The family suggests donations to Congregation Ner Tamid, 2761 Emerson Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89121, or the Jewish War Veterans, 7155 E. Carey Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89115.
Richard Harris
Richard Harris, 52, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 17, 1953, in New York City. A resident for 16 years, he was a textile salesman and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Mezzanotte of New York City; and one brother, Mitchell Harris of Los Angeles.
Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.
Samuel M. Piacenza Sr.
Samuel M. Piacenza Sr., 67, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born June 2, 1938, in New London, Conn. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired steel fabricator and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; four daughters, Cynthia Piper of Morro Bay, Calif., Coral Desmond of Sacramento, Colleen Smedstad of Lincoln, Calif., and Michelle Garcia of Las Vegas; one son, Samuel Piacenza Jr. of Callville Bay; one brother, Kenneth Piacenza of Groton, Conn.; and six grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Frances Santori
Frances Santori, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 16, 1924, in Walterboro, S.C. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired electronics solderer.
She is survived by one daughter, Yolanda Acosta-Ruffu of Gig Harbour, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Amahni R. Taylor
Amahni R. Taylor, an infant, died Saturday, her date of birth. She was born Aug. 20, 2005, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her father, Christopher Taylor, her mother, Angelica Johnson, her grandparents, Angie Simon, Patrick Johnson, James Taylor and Derrick Hicks, and her godparents, Ronnie and Advergus Taylor, all of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Jimmie White
Jimmie White, 77, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 25, 1927, in Battle, Miss. A resident for six years, he was a retired police officer and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; two daughters, Pamela Wade of Texas and Claudia Terry of Gary, Ind.; one son, Shayne White of Illinois; four stepdaughters, Claudette Green of Henderson, Theresa Dotson of Lynnwood, Ill., Sharon Carter of Merrilleville, Ind., and Latanza Robinson of Esterio, Fla.; one stepson, John Williams of Michigan City, Ind.; one sister, Marlon Williams of Florida City, Fla.; four brothers, Carver White, Robert White and Walter White, all of Chicago, and Tomie White of Mattson, Ill.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
