Letter: Strip solicitors annoy visitor
Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005 | 9:28 a.m.
I was on vacation in Las Vegas two weeks ago. I was dismayed by encountering the individuals on street corners on Las Vegas Boulevard who were soliciting sex by way of passing out baseball-card-sized advertisements.
No prude here, this writer, and one who enjoys the risque atmosphere of Las Vegas. But I'll probably not return to Las Vegas if the individuals are allowed to stay on the street corners. Or, at the very most, my time in your city will be spent where the individuals are not allowed to stand. I applaud the managers of the hotels and resorts who have been able to keep these people away from their properties.
