Being privy to watching many of the aforementioned matches I would like to pass along my personal salutations, not only to the players for their conduct, sportsmanship and general golf etiquette, but also to the scores of volunteers who, week after week, oversee the association's various tournaments and ensure they run as smoothly as they do.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic welcomes all area golfers to play in its third annual Golf Classic, which is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 14, at the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club.

The individual entry fee for this four-person scramble is $200 and $750 for a foursome. Corporate Tee Sponsorships are available at $150 per hole.

Registration and breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. the day of the tournament, followed by a shotgun start and 18 holes of golf on one of the top courses in Las Vegas. At the conclusion of play there will be a luncheon along with the presentation of trophies and prizes.

All money raised from this event goes to the Las Vegas Philharmonic in support of its concert series and educational outreach programs.
