A wedding chapel will open in November on the themed Pontevecchio bridge at the Lake Las Vegas Resort.
Chapel Fiorenza is scheduling weddings, vow renewals and commitment ceremonies for November and into 2006, resort representatives said Monday.
More than 170,000 weddings are performed in Las Vegas annually in what has become a billion-dollar industry, said Kathleen Harrison, a partner in Chapel Fiorenza.
The chapel will feature a wood-beamed ceiling, hanging wrought-iron chandeliers and sconces, stone floors, arched windows and wooden pews that can seat up to 225 guests. The chapel also will offer a variety of wedding services, including florists, photographers, videographers and musicians.
