The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino has purchased four, year-old German Shepherd guard dogs.
The K-9 unit, trained at Adam Davis Canine in Naples, Fla., will be able to detect explosives that could come into the property via luggage, postal deliveries, courier packages and cargo trucks, the property said.
The dogs also will provide a "visual sense of security" in high traffic areas of the property such as the casino floor and pool areas, it said.
