Coffee bar plans bike helmet event
The Prancing Pony Coffee Bar, in conjunction with Nevada Injury Prevention/ThinkFirst-Nevada, is sponsoring a bicycle helmet giveaway from 10:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 27, 9711 S. Eastern Ave., Suite H-12.
The Prancing Pony will be working with Nevada Injury Prevention/ ThinkFirst-Nevada, a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent unintentional brain and spinal cord injuries. No purchase is necessary to participate in the event; however, the child must be present in order to have the helmet properly fitted.

Wellspring Bible Institute
is now registering students for the fall session, which will begin Sept. 12. The Institute is an interdenominational, evangelical, Bible-based institute of learning, which offers programs for working men and women. Call 631-5027 or send email to wbi@faith.com.
