Michael Brown Jr.

Michael Brown Jr., 90, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 7, 1915, in Little Rock, Ark. A resident for 51 years, he was a retired laborer and a World War II Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie, and daughter, Cynthia Smith.

He is survived by four sons, Richard Brown and Michael Brown III, both of Las Vegas, Bentley Brown of El Cajon, Calif., and Barkley Brown of Chula Vista, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., followed by a private burial. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Robert E. Dupree

Robert E. Dupree, 56, died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 20, 1948, in Arkansas. A local resident, he was a cook and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by four brothers, Roy Dupree of North Las Vegas and George Dupree, Royce Dupree and Kenneth Dupree, all of Arkansas; and five sisters, Anna M. Dupree, Arphia Finn and Karen Dupree, all of Arkansas and Wanda Dupree and Ouida Dupree, both of North Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Elanore B. Folino

Elanore B. Folino, 61, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 30, 1944, in Pottsville, Pa. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired senior buyer for a hospital.

She is survived by her husband, John; three sisters, Rosemary Whren of Bel Air, Md., Marian Guerra of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Donna Marie Cichowic of Pottsville, Pa.; and one brother, Joseph Tegano of Las Vegas.

Services and burial will be in Pottsville. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to St. Joseph's Church, 321 Howard Ave., Pottsville, PA 17901.

Susan Aline Harris

Susan Aline Harris, 61, of Las Vegas died Aug. 7 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 18, 1944, in Los Angeles. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a retired telephone operator.

She is survived by two daughters, Monique Tula and Erica Johnson; one sister, Brenda Nissin; and three grandchildren.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.

Charles Edward Kelley

Charles Edward Kelley, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 26, 1933, in Hamlet, N.C. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired contract driver for a furniture company and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Vivienne; four daughters, Lisa Kelley and Cheryl Chacon, both of Las Vegas, Gwen Bennett of Waldorf, Md., and Sheila Grays of Stockton, Calif.; one son, Rodney Kelley of San Diego; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be in San Diego. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

William Earl Krummel

William Earl Krummel, 72, of Las Vegas died Aug. 5, in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1932, in Sleepy Eye, Minn. A resident for 28 years, he owned and operated a glass company and was a Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Graciela; two sons, B.J. Krummel and Bob Krummel, and two stepsons, Rafael Garcia and Raul Garcia, all of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Leticia Sullivan of Dallas and Perla Timoney of Saudi Arabia; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

E. Elton 'Big Shot' Lewis

E. Elton "Big Shot" Lewis, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1935, in Jacobi, La. A resident for 42 years, he was a truck driver.

He is survived by four sons; Alfred M. Lewis, Mark S. Lewis, Jeffery K. Lewis and E. Elton Lewis Jr., six daughters, Dianna Speight, JoAnn Elizenberry, Bobbie M. Lewis, Karen D. Lewis, Shamia Lewis and Kathleen Lewis, all of Las Vegas; one brother, J.C. Lewis, and two sisters, Jean Webb and Eldora Williams, all of New Orleans; and 22 grandchildren.

Services will be noon Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

William Seferino Martinez

William Seferino Martinez, 47, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 24, 1957, in Denver. A resident for 37 years, he was a janitor for the county government.

He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Ann Collier; one son, Peter Joseph Martinez; his mother, Betty E. Martinez; three sisters, Lorraine J. Miller, Felicia Rose Martinez and Crystal Rose Martinez; and two grandchildren.

Rosaline Santangelo

Rosaline Santangelo, 77, of Gilbert, Ariz., died Thursday in Mesa, Ariz. She was born March 3, 1928, in Staten Island, N.Y. A former Las Vegas resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Roz Santangelo of Gilbert; one son, Anthony Santangelo of Berkeley, Calif.; and three grandsons.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Wayne W. Smith

Wayne W. Smith, 80, of Henderson died Thursday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 21, 1925, in Claremore, Okla. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired chief steward on an oil tanker and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine S.; one son, Paul J. Kolb of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Joe Louis Spencer

Joe Louis Spencer, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 21, 1944, in Shubuta, Miss. A resident for 40 years, he was a school bus driver and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by five sisters, Mary Heidelberg and Sahara Pope, both of Shubuta, Mary Ruth Starlin of Wellington, Texas, and Inez Davis and Nora Watts, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Robert Spencer and George Spencer, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Marcus MarKeas Sullivan

Marcus MarKeas Sullivan, 2 1/2 months, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 19, 2005, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his mother, Marcia Maureen Greenspan, and his father, Joseph Sullivan IV, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Joseph Sullivan V, Brian Sullivan and Byron Sullivan, all of New Orleans and Myron Sullivan of Las Vegas; one sister, Jonika Sullivan of New Orleans; and his grandparents, Joseph Sullivan III and Olajide and Naomi Akintonwa, all of New Orleans, and Leona S. Greenspan of New York City.

Visitation is scheduled noon-2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Roger L. Suntken

Roger L. Suntken, 61, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 24, 1944, in Kearney, Neb. A resident for 16 years, he was a carpenter for a concrete construction company.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; one son, David Suntken of Las Vegas; one daughter, Wendy Hargrove, his mother, Bernadeen Suntken, and one sister, Cheryl Suntken, all of Denver; four brothers, Ronald Suntken, Bobby Suntken and Dale Suntken, all of Denver and Darrell Suntken of Clovis, Calif.; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
