Harrah's Entertainment Inc. has appointed Gary Selesner to replace Mark Juliano as president of company flagship Caesars Palace. Selesner was previously general manager of Caesars.
Selesner will have responsibility for the property's day-to-day operations and report to Tom Jenkin, president of Harrah's Western Division. He previously served as general manager of the Rio, Hard Rock and Harrah's casinos in Las Vegas and Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, where he started his career.
"His expertise with diverse brands, entertainment and marketing will be particularly important to us at Caesars Palace, one of the best-known luxury brands in the gaming industry," Jenkin said in a statement.
John Unwin, senior vice president of hotel operations for Caesars, has been named assistant general manager of Caesars Palace. Unwin, reporting to Selesner, will supervise all hotel, leisure and food and beverage departments as well as slot operations.
