Donna Marie Barnett
Donna Marie Barnett, 52, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 26, 1952, in Fairfield, Calif. A resident for 42 years, she was a bartender.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Lane Barnett of Tucson and Gary Dean Barnett of Blackwell, Okla.; two daughters, Tamara Louise Kimberlin and Shannon Leanette Haag, both of Las Vegas; her father, Jerome Affeldt of Washington state; her mother, Louise Fulton, and three sisters, Sharon Cottrell, Toni Harvey and Janet Affeldt, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Mark Affeldt of Las Vegas and Guy Affeldt of Georgia; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park.
Betty Curry
Betty Curry, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 6, 1932, in Phoenix. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Robert; two daughters, Jean Victoria Santry of Henderson and Etta Mae Hagen of Neosho, Wis.; one brother, Kenneth Charles Fox of Wikieup, Ariz.; and one granddaughter.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Benjamin Abraham Guffey
Benjamin Abraham Guffey, 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 12, 1945, in Edinburg, Texas. A resident for four years, he was a retail security consultant and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; four sons, Benjamin Guffey Jr. and Frank Guffey, both of San Antonio, Kevin Guffey of Orlando, Fla., and Matthew Saner of Las Vegas; and two daughters, Mary Haggerty of Avondale, Ariz., and Jaime Turner of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Mary Helen Harsany
Mary Helen Harsany, 86, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 15, 1918, in Culbertson, Mont. A resident for 63 years, she retired as a retail grocery clerk from Clark Market, Townside Market, Foodland and Prime Meats after 30 years. While retired, she was a supermarket change person and school crossing guard. She was a retired member of Nevada Retail Clerks, a member of Black Mountain Country Club, Nevada Women's Bowling Association, Henderson Elk's Lodge 1956 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Lee Korthuis, one son, Larry Bogut, and two sisters, Pat Gandrud and Wilma Holden, all of Henderson; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Clara K. Nitta
Clara K. Nitta, 87, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 8, 1917, in Wainaie, Hawaii. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by two daughters, Amy Motooka of Honolulu and Sharon Young of Garden Grove, Calif.; three sons, Bert Kimura and Maurice Nitta, both of Honolulu and Randy Nitta of Henderson; two sisters, Mariam Joto and Vivian Ikenaga, both of Honolulu; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Marion Routley
Marion Routley, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A retired credit union secretary, she was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Windsor, Ontario.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Erma Sullivan
Erma Sullivan, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born July 14, 1925, in Collinsville, Okla. A resident for 26 years, she was a factory assembler and a member of TOPS.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Davies and Linda Prezioso, both of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Margo B. Waring
Margo B. Waring, 65, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born March 11, 1940, in Methuen, Mass. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired child care center teacher.
She is survived by her husband, John "Jack"; two daughters, Susan Notini of Henderson and Sandra Lister of Las Vegas; two sons, John Waring Jr. of Haverhill, Mass., and David Waring of Henderson; one sister, Emily Blanchard of Methuen; three brothers, Alex Messina of Lawrence, Mass., Robert Messina of Virginia and Junior Messina of Salem, N.H.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
