The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services awarded the organization a three-year contract to assist Nevada and Utah hospitals, skilled-nursing homes, physicians and home health care agencies with improving the quality of care they provide.
This is of greater significance now that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services publicly tracks the quality of care that is provided for various types of cases.
HealthInsight, based in Salt Lake City, has been Nevada's quality improvement organization since 1988.
