Company’s income rises

IASIS Healthcare LLC, owner of North Vista Hospital, announced Tuesday that its profit in the fiscal second quarter increased 33 percent.

The Franklin, Tenn.-based company's net income increased to $15.8 million in the second quarter from $11.9 million in the year-ago quarter.

Revenue increased to $390.3 million in the second quarter from $355.5 million in the year-ago quarter.

Patient admissions for the company's 15 hospitals increased to 23,569 patients in the second quarter, down 1 percent from 23,804 patients in the year-ago quarter.
