StumbleWork begins on Palazzo casino

Basement excavation has begun for the Palazzo casino on the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard South and Sands Avenue. Las Vegas Sands Corp.'s $1.6 billion upscale casino with 3,000 suites is expected to be completed in mid-2007.
