General Motors has announced a loss of $1.1 billion for this past quarter, and blames it on health care costs. In other industrialized nations, the government provides health care, and companies there can concentrate on producing their products.
Isn't it time to consider universal health care for all Americans? It could be something like the Medicare system, which would allow our corporations to compete fairly with their foreign competitors.
