Cimarron grad joins Rebels
UNLV men's basketball coach Lon Kruger announced the signing of his second player during the spring signing period on Thursday.
Jason Petrimoulx, a 6-foot-4 sophomore guard from Dixie State College in St. George, Utah, will join the Rebels in the fall. A Cimarron High School graduate, Petrimoulx led Dixie in scoring last season and was fifth in the Scenic West Athletic Conference with an average of 15.4 points per game.
"He is a versatile player that can play both guard positions," Kruger said. "He will bring enthusiasm and athleticism, which will complement those already in our program."
Petrimoulx joins 6-foot-8 postman Jerome Johnson of Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., as UNLV's spring signees. The Rebels have signed seven players for the 2005-06 season including five who signed in the early signing period in November.
