Boris Slutsky
Internationally acclaimed soloist Boris Slutsky will perform a piano recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Community College of Southern Nevada's Cheyenne Campus, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Admission is $8 adults, $5 students and seniors. 651-5483.
'World of Wonder'
The Henderson Parks and Recreation Department presents Leland Faulkner's "World of Wonder," a combination of stories, humor, pantomime and shadow play, at 7 p.m. Saturday at Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St. Tickets are $8 adults, $5 children and seniors. 267-4035.
Chamber orchestra
The Desert Spring Chamber Orchestra will perform "Spring With Strings" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Desert Spring United Methodist Church, 120 N. Pavilion Center Drive. Admission is $15 general, $7.50 seniors, military, disabled and children under 12. 256-5933.
Piano recital
