Helda G. Abdou

Helda G. Abdou, 86, of Las Vegas died April 6 at a local hospital. She was born March 14, 1919, in Cairo, Egypt. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Samy Hanna of Henderson and Safwat Hanna and Ed Hanna, both of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Loris Hanna of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until a 2:30 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Marguerite Black

Marguerite Black, 83, of Las Vegas died April 3 in Las Vegas. She was born April 26, 1921, in Port Huron, Mich. A resident for 43 years, she was a retired head hostess at a coffee shop.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse; one daughter, Marguerite Cuaves of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. handled arrangements.

Tonette Antonette Cross

Tonette Antonette Cross, 45, of North Las Vegas died March 28 in North Las Vegas. A resident for more than 25 years, she was born July 22, 1959, in St. Louis.

She is survived by one son, Maurice A. Cross, one daughter, Dionne Cross, and her mother, Sunday Cross, all of Las Vegas; her father, Oliver Walford of Michigan; three sisters, Pam Cross, Renea Turner and Stephanie Shepherd, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.

Wayne 'Fuji' Fujihara

Wayne "Fuji" Fujuhara, 61, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born July 20, 1943, in Waimea, Hawaii. A resident for seven years, he was a dealer.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen Pua; two daughters, Denise Fujihara-Nagamine and Vanessa Kubota, both of Henderson; one son, Wayne Fujihara of Pukalani, Hawaii; his mother, Hatsumi Fujihara of Kailua, Hawaii; two sisters, Rise Fujihara-Kilian of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Laurie Hayashida of Kailua; one brother, Gary Fujihara of Honolulu; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.

Macario V. Inovejas

Macario V. Inovejas, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 23, 1924, in the Philippines. A resident for eight years, he was a retired maintenance person for a yard service company.

He is survived by one daughter, Veronica Atendido of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be noon-7 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Irvin Rudley

Irvin Rudley, 87, of Henderson died Thursday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 11, 1917, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired air conditioning and heating contractor, a member of the California Free Masons and Home Masonic Lodge of Encino, Calif., past president of the Encino Shrine Club and past patron of Order of the Eastern Star.

He was preceded in death by one son, Alan Cohen; and one grandson, Brandon Rudley.

He is survived by his wife, Ronny; two daughters, Harriet Moretsky of West Hills, Calif., and Jerri Oppenheim of Redmond, Ore.; two sons, Ralph Rudley of Canoga Park, Calif., and Fred Cohen of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; one brother, Wil Rudley of Moraga, Calif.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Alan Lenoy Stephenson

Alan Lenoy Stephenson, 43, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 25, 1961, in California. A lifelong resident, he was a painter.

He is survived by his father, Robert; and two sisters, Lori Tate and Diane Perez.

Joseph Toker

Joseph Toker, 86, of Searchlight died April 8 in a local care center. He was born Dec. 1, 1918, in Minneapolis. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired welder for a utility company, World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of Searchlight Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Boilermakers Union.

He is survived by one daughter, Kathy Snapp of Bluntville, Tenn.; one son, Michael Toker of Lancaster, Calif.; one sister, Florence Sullivan of Boston; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson is handling arrangements.

Betty Jean Turner

Betty Jean Turner, 53, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 2, 1951, in Livingston, Ala. A resident for 47 years, she was a retired licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Asbury; one son, Cedric Burton Neal, and one daughter, Tanisha Taylor, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 1240 W. Adams Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Jon R. Williams

Jon R. Williams, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 1, 1952, in Cedar City, Utah. A resident for 45 years, he was an engineer in the gaming industry.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; four daughters, Sophie Abell and Stacey Williams, both of Henderson, and Lindsay Williams and Angela Bruun, both of Las Vegas; three sons, Deick Williams of Henderson and Robert Bruun and Adam Bruun, both of Fargo, N.D.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the LDS Alta and Jones Ward. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

William Earl Williams

William Earl Williams, 85, of Las Vegas died April 2. He was born Feb. 19, 1921, in Kiowa County, Okla. A resident for 72 years, he was a former owner of Williams Matress Company and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Frankie Fletcher; one son, Larry Williams; one daughter, Cheryl Carrasco; one stepson, William Holmes; and one sister, Edna McClung.

Burial will be in Texas. Gutierrez Funeral Chapel, 1002 North Oaks St., San Angelo, Texas, is handling arrangements.
