School to host Rebelmania Day

Raul P. Elizondo Elementary School will be celebrating Rebelmania Day beginning with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the school, 4865 Goldfield St., North Las Vegas, to promote its College Culture Initiative program.

The program is designed to encourage students to plan for college.

The focus will be on UNLV and the school faculty. The staff and students will be dressed in UNLV colors. Rebel decorations and UNLV bulletin boards and posters will decorate the school's multi-purpose room and hallways, along with pennants and posters from over 75 different colleges. Additionally, Athletic Department representatives (student sports team members) from UNLV, will be speaking with the students.
