I disagree with Robert Wilson, who, in his April 6 letter, objected to Mike Smith's cartoon about Johnnie Cochran. Wilson said he believed that the cartoon was distasteful, that Smith was turning Cochran's death into something humorous.
Personally, I thought the cartoon was cute and a compliment to Cochran. The cartoon had Cochran making a rhyme in heaven, because rhymes were his trademark in courtrooms.
Wilson must have missed Mike Smith's cartoon after Terri Schiavo died, showing her sitting on a cloud and yelling down, "Stop all the fighting."
Lighten up, Mr. Wilson, and look for the "silver lining" in everything.
