Hospitality workers train for competition

Housekeeper Lisa Sparks practiced with other co-workers competing in bed-making Tuesday at New York- New York. The housekeepers were preparing for this year's hospitality competition at the Las Vegas International Hotel & Restaurant Show set for April 27-28. The competition will test skills in making beds, throwing mops into a toilet bowl, tossing a buffer pad while blindfolded to a person holding a toilet plunger and vacuuming up confetti.
