Governor must vigorously pursue proposed rebate

Here's what the citizens of Nevada should say to Gov. Kenny Guinn:
"Governor, are you out there? We know you're very busy but no one has really seen or heard from you since the State of the State speech in January. And we don't think anyone in the Legislature was listening to your proposal to give us a rebate on their vehicle registrations. In fact, we haven't even heard any discussion about it since January when you told everyone about the state's huge surplus from the overtaxing that all the elected representatives of the last legislative session put into effect.
"Governor, can you let a few of the state senators know that you really were serious when you said you wanted to give the taxpayers some of the money back that has been overpaid into the state coffers? Maybe they thought you were just kidding."
