Company makes management change at New York-New York

MGM Mirage has named Lorenzo Creighton president of the company's New York-New York hotel and casino, succeeding Felix Rappaport.
Creighton was recently hired by MGM Mirage from Caesars Entertainment Inc., where he ran the Flamingo resort as the Strip's first black property president on the Strip.
Rappaport has served as president of New York-New York since 2000 and "will be taking on new responsibilities following the merger with Mandalay Resort Group," MGM Mirage said in a statement Monday.
Sources familiar with the move said Rappaport would likely become president of the Luxor resort following MGM Mirage's pending acquisition of Mandalay Resort Group.
MGM Mirage has already announced management positions for its existing properties following the deal but hasn't yet revealed who will run Mandalay's Strip properties, which include Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur and Circus Circus.
Rappaport declined to comment further on the company's statement.
