Joyce Lavone Akin-Coleman
Joyce Lavone Akin-Coleman, 33, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1971, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a Clark County deputy clerk.
She is survived by her husband, Cedric Coleman; two daughters, Teeazha Akin and Carmen Coleman, her father, George Akin, her mother, Betty Wilbert, and four sisters, Lenora Carr, Belinda Danielson, Juanita Clifton and Mahalia Carr, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Southern Baptist Church, 1600 E. Cartier Ave., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Minnie Lee Conway-Watkins
Minnie Lee Conway-Watkins, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 2, 1947, in Vicksburg, Miss. A resident for 51 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Celester Watkins; one son, Darnell Conway, and one daughter, Melissa Roby, both of North Las Vegas; one sister, Luevenia Trantham of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Ella Bell Denning
Ella Bell Denning, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born May 6, 1928, in Oklahoma. A resident for 47 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Robbie Fiscus, and one son, Jimmy Morgan, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Burnal Baggs of Oklahoma; one sister, Ova Nunnley of New Mexico; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Marcia Goldberg
Marcia Goldberg, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born April 5, 1934, in New York City.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph.
Graveside services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Julia Holys
Julia Holys, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 18, 1913, in Indiana. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Carl Holys and Ronald Lee Holys; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services in Barstow, Calif., are pending. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Revy Jackson
Revy Jackson, 76, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. A merchandising entrepreneur, she was born Dec. 9, 1927, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Luther.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Rocksdale, Texas. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Mabel A. Lutz
Mabel A. Lutz, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Sept. 25, 1917, in Green Island, N.Y.
She is survived by one daughter, Joanne M. Williams, and one son, Jack Lutz, both of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Troy, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Donna McMahon
Donna McMahon, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born July 10, 1940, in Iowa. A resident for one year, she was a real estate saleswoman and a member of the Las Vegas Board of Realtors.
She is survived by her husband, Rodman Blood; two daughters, Elizabeth McQueen of Alexandria, Va., and Linda McMahon of Fond du Lac, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Jodi Higgins of Crawford, Ga., and Lisa Blood of Portland, Ore.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to Make A Wish Foundation, 3111 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102.
Hilma Hopkins Stephenson
Hilma Hopkins Stephenson, 85, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 10, 1919, in Glendale, Utah. A resident for 24 years, she was a cosmetologist and an insurance broker. She and her husband, Bruce Wendell Stephenson, served a calling at the Las Vegas Geneology Center and volunteered at a local nursing home.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Allen and Deann Thomas, both of Henderson, and Lynda Evadna Kaikala of Hawaii; one sister, Pauline Hunt Jones of Utah; seven grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the LDS Stone Creek Chapel, 1525 Guilford Drive, Henderson. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
