McCarran shuttle stop to move

Saying it will ease congestion at the departure gate, managers at McCarran International Airport today announced plans to move the shuttle stop that takes passengers to the remote parking lot.

The move was designed to ease congestion along the departure curb, the current stop and a common drop-off point for returning passengers, airport representatives said. Passengers will now be directed to the airport's Zero Level outside the baggage claim area, where the new pick-up point will be located.

The shuttle will continue to operate from the departure curb for the next seven to 10 days. Signs have been installed to remind passengers of the new shuttle stop location, representatives said.
