Because of incorrect infor-mation provided to the Sun, a story in Friday's editions incorrectly stated the tax savings realized by LasVegas golf course owner Billy Walters. The state Board of Equalization approved a tax of $234,792 on the Royal Links and Desert Pines golf courses for a total savings of $29,617.

* Because of an error by the Sun, a story in Friday's editions incorrectly reported the number of seats the Republicans need to win in November's election to gain the majority in the Assembly. The Republicans would need to retain the 19 seats they hold and win three additional seats. The Sun regrets the error.
