Kids write about their fun at camp

Children who attend camp through the Sun Camp Fund sometimes later write to explain what they liked best.
Their comments remind us at the Camp Fund why we do this.
One child noted he liked it best, "when I went rock climbing all four days. I never made it to the top until the last day, and got a gold medal."
"We got to swim," one girl wrote, adding she also liked "the cuinslers (counselors) and stafs. Rock chliming, care, horses."
Another camper also had fond memories of her counselor, "Aloha." "She was very funny," the girl wrote. "She is the best conselor I ever had. I will be looking forward to coming back to (camp) again."
The Sun Camp Fund provides scholarships to send children to camp when their families cannot afford to. All donations go directly to the cost of camp; administrative expenses are paid by the Las Vegas Sun.
