PacificCare gives $35,000

The PacifiCare Foundation, a nonprofit organization established by PacifiCare Health Systems, has contributed $35,000 to four community-based Las Vegas Valley organizations.
Adoption Exchange -- Nevada received $5,000 to recruit adoptive families for children who live in Nevada foster homes.
The Blind Center of Nevada recieved $10,000 to hire a part-time volunteer coordinator and buy program supplies for its day program for the blind and visually impaired.
Classroom on Wheels receieved $10,000 to offer free prescription medications to uninsured and underinsured children and adolescents.
Positively Kids received $10,000 to provide nursing care for homebound children.
