Stephen Boghian

Stephen Boghian, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 20, 1928, in Detroit. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired machinist in the aerospace industry.

He is survived by his wife, Nell; one daughter, Kate Stoval, and two sons, Steve Boghian and Roger Boghian, all of Las Vegas.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Keith Buchanan

Keith Buchanan, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 29, 1935, in Peoria, Ill. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired automobile salesman.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; two daughters, Melinda Schroeder of Illinois and Janet Richards of Colorado; one stepson, William Muhs of North Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Danielle Semrad of Las Vegas; two sisters, Kay Buchanan of Illinois and Kathleen Gebauer of California; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Thomas D. Crowley

Thomas D. Crowley, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A consultant and an Army veteran, he was born Feb. 7, 1929, in Middletown, Ohio.

He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Rose of Acton, Mass., and Robin Larson of Indiana; one son, Kevin Crowley of Connecticut; one sister, Shirley Murray of North Carolina; one brother, Don Crowley of Missouri; and eight grandchildren.

Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Theresa DiSapio

Theresa DiSapio, 79, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1925, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Richard DiSapio, and two daughters, Lorraine DiSapio and Christine DiSapio, all of Henderson; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Chester R. Fleece

Chester R. Fleece, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 12, 1927, in Youngstown, Ohio. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired crane repairman in the steel industry and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two daughters, Robin Spencer of Las Vegas and Carol Paine of Gilbert, Ariz.; one sister, Christine Tepsick of Boardman, Ohio; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Rex Boyd Greenwood

Rex Boyd Greenwood, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. An orthodontist, he was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Payson, Utah.

He is survived by his wife, LaRue of Orem, Utah.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Orem, Utah. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Sally Horalek

Sally Horalek, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Michigan. A resident for four years, she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by three sons, Gerald E. Nowicki of Las Vegas, John Horalek of Florida and Richard Horalek of Michigan; two daughters, Nancy Osberg and Paula Luztski, both of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Geneva Jones

Geneva Jones, 95, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 14, 1909, in Holden, Utah. A resident for 43 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by five sons, J. Merlin Jones, LaVoy T. Jones and Burdett E. Jones, all of Las Vegas, Duane S. Jones of Wellford, S.C., and Ladd M. Jones of Newhall, Calif.; 23 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Thursday in the LDS Meadows 6th Ward. Graveside services will be in Utah.

Robert Landon

Robert Landon, 67, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 12, 1936, in Caney, Kan. A resident for six years, he was a retired hospital corrections officer and a Korean War Army and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; three daughters, Deborah Norman, Dana Eastabrooks and Diana Stevens, all of Florida; one stepdaughter, Cheryl Reed of Boulder City; two stepsons, Lee Foreman of Phoenix and Gary Pollard of Boulder City; and 15 grandchildren.

A military burial will be held in Pensacola, Fla. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, handled arrangements.

The family suggests donations to St. Jude Research Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mary C. Long

Mary C. Long, 88, of Las Vegas died Aug. 8 in Las Vegas. She was born July 31, 1916, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Allan Long and Robert Long; one daughter, Anamari Irwin; five grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.

Esaperanza Ochoa

Esaperanza Ochoa, 61, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1942, in Mexico. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Merced; two daughters, Maria Ochoa of Las Vegas and Veronica Ochoa of North Las Vegas; three sons, Octavio Ochoa, David Ochoa and George Ochoa, all of Las Vegas; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 1-5 p.m. Thursday, followed by a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Catalina F. Salazar

Catalina F. Salazar, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 16, 1913, in Mexico. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker and was retired.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Santiago Cadena of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Thomas Lee Smith

Thomas Lee Smith, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 9, 1923, in Las Vegas. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired oil company manager.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie; five sons, Thomas L. Smith Jr. of Chattanooga, Tenn., Edward Smith of Pell City, Ala., Christopher Smith of Leeds, Ala., Carlton Curry of Detroit and Wendell Curry of Las Vegas; two daughters, Stella Roberson of Paterson, N.J., and Nancy Curry-Bastien of Las Vegas; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Ivan Staneff

Ivan Staneff, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday. A deckhand, he was born March 19, 1917, in Ohio.
