Big Lots opens three Las Vegas area stores this week, bringing its store count valleywide to 11. Each store employs 20 to 40 people. A 12th store is slated to open in Henderson next year. The new stores are at 8140 S. Eastern Ave., 8570 W. Lake Mead Blvd. and 4790 E. Flamingo Road.
Big Lots, a closeout retailer, is based in Columbus,Ohio, and sells everything from dining room sets to diapers. The company operates about 1,500 stores nationwide.
