Letter: Columnist is wrong about early voting
Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004 | 8:59 a.m.
So Sun columnist and TV host Jon Ralston believes that people who vote early are "moronic."
He says important information might come out in the next few days to change a voter's mind. We're voting for a president, not buying a cell phone. We've had at least a year to hear the policies of each candidate. Those who have not made up their minds by now really don't value their vote that much.
As for upcoming debates that Ralston mentions: Debates are mainly performed to influence undecided voters. And if you're an undecided voter, why would you early vote anyway? Only a "moron" would not see this.
Voter fraud? How are a few days going to change this? This election is setting itself up to have more questionable practices than the recent elections in Afghanistan.
Yes, Ralston has continued his track record of "moronic" analysis. Leave it up to a talking head to actually discourage people from voting.
