Attendance at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas this month rose 10 percent from last year to a record 25,018 people, conference organizers said Tuesday.
The number of companies exhibiting on the trade show floor rose 16 percent to 705.
Non-U.S. attendance at the show rose 29 percent in part because of a new conference track this year on worldwide gaming issues. The 4,300 international attendees represented 107 different countries and more than 100 exhibitors were from outside the United States.
The Global Gaming Expo, the casino industry's largest conference and trade show, is organized by the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions.
