Elinore Livenston
Elinore Livenston, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 18, 1918, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara R. Wiener of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Sally Klein of Vienna, W.Va.; one son, William L. Kann III of Atlanta; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, handled arrangements.
Richard A. Preuninger
Richard A. Preuninger, 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 18, 1935, in Montana. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired casino maintenance technician.
He is survived by one son, Richard Jr.; three daughters, Barbara Blankenbaker, Leslie Field and Diane Rock; and eight grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Patricia Thorson
Patricia Thorson, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A resident for many years, she was a retired motel manager.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Licata of Seattle and Kim Haddy of Apple Valley, Minn.; four sons, Mark Haddy of Yuba City, Calif., Don Clabaugh of Bluntstown, Fla., Ron Clabaugh of Las Vegas and John Clabaugh of Lorena, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Troy A. Wheeler Sr.
Troy A. Wheeler Sr., 35, of Las Vegas died Oct. 1 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 22, 1968, in Lowell, Mass. A resident for two years, he was a retired automotive repairman.
He is survived by two sons, T.J. Wheeler and Joshua Wheeler, and one daughter, Kristyle Wheeler, all of Tucson; and his mother, Shay V. Anderson of Las Vegas.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled private arrangements.
Shelley R. Woods
Shelley R. Woods, 51, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1953, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 23 years, she was a secretary.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; one daughter, Traci Cochran of Boise; and two sons, Thomas Cochran III and Christopher Cochran, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to the Epilepsy Foundation, 4351 Garden City Drive, Landover, MD 20785.
