Las Vegas-based gaming equipment supplier Mikohn Gaming Corp. announced today that it would exceed third-quarter estimates for revenue and earnings.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mikohn said it expects to report earnings per share of between 5 cents and 7 cents and revenue of between $24 million and $25 million when the company reports earnings after markets close on Nov. 2.
A survey of analysts by Thomson Financial forecast Mikohn would break even for the quarter. In the same quarter a year ago, the company reported a loss of 32 cents a share.
The announcement boosted the company's stock price 8.3 percent this morning to $6.50 a share.
