James E. Baddon

James E. Baddon, 87, of Las Vegas died Sept. 15 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 2, 1917, in Canada. A resident for many years, he was a retired retail salesman and a veteran of the Canadian armed forces.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Harry and Rick; one daughter, Mary; one sister, Jean; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private services.

Ramon Hormigos Baltazar

Ramon Hormigos Baltazar, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. A retired laborer, he was born April 23, 1929, in the Philippines.

He is survived by his wife, Judith; nine daughters, Josie Symonds of Las Vegas and Loida, Larina, Lorena, Terasa, Alma, Ruth, Leny and Lorenza; one son, Alan Norberto; more than 60 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.

Henry D. Barker

Henry D. Barker, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 19, 1929, in Nemaha, Neb. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired school bus driver and a member of Whitney Senior Center.

He is survived by two sons, Scott Barker of Las Vegas and Shawn Barker of Littleton, Colo.; one daughter, Susan Zalatan of Littleton; one brother, Frank Barker of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to an 11 a.m. service Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

William Bell Jr.

William Bell Jr., 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1927, in Louisiana. A resident for 50 years, he was a hotel kitchen worker and a Korean War Army veteran.

Visitation is scheduled 1-6 p.m. Monday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10:40 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Ruth N. 'Ruko' Halfacre

Ruth N. "Ruko" Halfacre, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. She was born Oct. 21, 1933, in Kawasaki, Japan. A resident for 43 years, she was a retired cocktail waitress and a member of Soka Gakkai International.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle A. Santo and Mica S. Halfacre, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Linda F. Henderson

Linda F. Henderson, 51, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 17, 1952, in Texas. A resident for 24 years, she was a customer service representative for Sprint.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Lee Sr.; one daughter, Erica D. Henderson, and two stepdaughters, Kimberley Witt and LaDaryl Jacob, all of Las Vegas; three stepsons, Eddie Lee Henderson Jr. and Bruce Henderson, both of Detroit, and Morris Henderson of Kileen, Texas; her mother, Joyce Nickson, one brother, Eldridge Nickson, and four sisters, Veronica Thomas, Felicia Harris, Pamela Bogany and Velma Darden, all of Livingston, Texas.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Joseph Edward Klimock

Joseph Edward Klimock, 68, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born April 1, 1936, in Pennsylvania. A resident for numerous years, he was a retired factory worker and Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Joseph John Klimock; and one daughter, Sharon Fedder.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Joan A. Hall Milella

Joan A. Hall Milella, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 8, 1927, in New Jersey. A resident for 23 years, she was a temp worker for a publishing company, past secretary of Desert Sculptors Association and former board member of Las Vegas Art Museum.

She is survived by two sons, Scott Hall of Nevada, Kan., and Neal Stewart of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Nancy Seta of Sunland, Calif.

Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Dorothy Miller

Dorothy Miller, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 13, 1922, in Minneapolis. A resident for 54 years, she was a retired registered nurse for the Clark County Health District.

She is survived by her husband, Fred.

Amanda Oehmen

Amanda Oehmen, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Arizona. A resident for eight years, she was a beautician.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene; two sons, Eugene Oehmen Jr. and William Oehmen; three daughters, Cathy Gonzalez, Debbie Oehmen and Lize Oehmen; four brothers, Roy Benavedez, Dickie Benavedez, Andy Benavedez and Benny Benavedez; five sisters, Socorro Williss, Connie Selillo, Terry Benavedez, Maryann Benavedez and Lillian Benavedez; and one grandchild.

Keiva Marie Rigano

Keiva Marie Rigano, 25, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A casino cocktail waitress, she was born in Henderson.

She is survived by one daughter, Ieyala McLeroy, and her mother and stepfather, Dolores Salazar-Schoppe and Paul Schoppe, all of Las Vegas; her father and stepmother, Robert and Zunilda Rigano, two sisters, Christine Gentry and Kacey Rigano, and three brothers, Anthony Hernandez, Eddie Osorio and Daniel Osorio, all of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled noon until a 2 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Betty Jean Villareale

Betty Jean Villareale, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 6, 1928, in Gulfport, Miss. A resident for 55 years, she was a retired dancer and singer.

She is survived by one son, Chris Villareale of Las Vegas; two daughters, Amy Hardy of Las Vegas and Laurie Kinner of Fox Island, Wash.; and six grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Patricia A. Weck

Patricia A. Weck, 68, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 30, 1936, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired convenience store sales clerk.

She is survived by one daughter, Tina M. Howard of North Las Vegas; four sons, Benny La Mantia of Cicero, Ill., Domingo La Mantia of Downers Grove, Ill., and Louis Sorrentino and Anthony LaMantia, both of Henderson; one sister, Dorothy Zinni of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Sunday with a 3:30 p.m. scripture service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 9 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at 10:40 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Ida Mae Wolfe

Ida Mae Wolfe, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 27, 1954, in Newton, Texas. A resident for five years, she was a banker and belonged to several bingo clubs.

She is survived by four sons, Quincy Wolfe, Murvin Wolfe Jr., Marcel Wolfe and Christopher Wolfe, and two daughters, Aretha Wolfe and Roshawnda Wolfe, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Helen Daniel, five brothers, Alto Daniel, Walter Daniel, Delbert Daniel, Mark Daniel, Edmond Daniel, and five sisters, Eva Bailey, Mattie Brown, June Daniel, Dylua Daniel and Vera Daniel, all of Phoenix; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Saturday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be in Arizona.
