‘Face to Face With Jon Ralston’ wins Electronic Media Award

"Face to Face With Jon Ralston" took first-place honors for discussion TV program at the Electronic Media Awards ceremony on Saturday for a show titled "Slum Lords?"
The April 30 episode dealt with the substandard conditions and subsequent closure of Sky-Vue mobile home park.
"It's wonderful to be recognized for doing what you truly love. I have the best job in television. I work with the smartest person I know, doing programs every day that have a real impact on the city I love," Dana Gentry, producer of "Face to Face," said.
Sponsored by Working in Communications, the Electronic Media Awards honors outstanding local television, radio, communication and educational organizations.
"Face to Face With Jon Ralston" is produced by the Las Vegas Sun. The show airs daily on Las Vegas One, Cox cable channel 19, at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 8 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and 3 a.m. and 11 a.m. the following day. Weekend rebroadcasts air at the above times, as well as Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.
