The Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation will honor four children at the 11th annual Profiles of Courage dinner 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Treasure Island.

Melanie Castillo and Megan Jones have been named Children of Courage for the exemplary courage they showed while successfully battling life-threatening illnesses. Brianne Waitman will receive the Teen Spirit Award for the inspiration she conveys to children who are fighting to regain their health.

Local and national artists, entertainers and businesses have donated their products, services and talents so that one 100 percent of the proceeds from an auction go to the foundation.
