A Florida developer purchased two Las Vegas apartment complexes with plans to convert them into condominiums.
Hollywood, Fla.-based SunVest Communities purchased the 400-apartment Latigo, 2300 E. Silverado Ranch Road, for $36 million. It also purchased the 360-apartment Southwest Trails complex, 4200 S. Valley View Blvd., for $28 million.
SunVest said in a press release that it will convert both apartment complexes to condominiums. Latigo will allow tenants to complete their leases, but it is scheduled to begin selling vacant one, two and three-bedroom condos on Oct. 30. Prices start in the low $100,000s.
Southwest Trails is scheduled to begin sales later this year, SunVest said.
