Letter: Moore has right to express views
Friday, Oct. 15, 2004 | 9:22 a.m.
Why are so many conservatives condemning Michael Moore's film "Fahrenheit 9/11" as a pack of lies and trying to stop the filmmaker from appearing at campuses around the country?
It appears that these self-styled true-blue Americans believe the First Amendment only applies to them.
Mr. Moore had a team of editors and lawyers check his film for errors or actionable statements. To condemn this documentary -- and many are condemning it without even having seen it -- is the height of intellectual dishonesty.
