UTEP’s Price has no interest

Scratch UTEP head coach Mike Price off the list of potential candidates to replace retiring John Robinson as UNLV's nest head football coach.
"Let's just nip that in the bud right now," Price, who has the Miners off to a 2-2 start, said. "I've got a job and I'm not interested, because of the tremendous opportunity I've been given here by (UTEP AB) Bob Stull and (school president) Diana Natalico and the way this commuinity has embraced me."
According to the El Paso Times, Price has a $250,000 buyout should he leave UTEP before 2009.
For what it's worth, Price said the Rebels have the right man for the job already on campus in Bruce Snyder.
"They've got a great candidate right there," Price said. "Bruce Snyder is one of the best coaches in America."
Wide receiver Terry Furlow (Achilles' strain) has practiced full speed this week and will play after missing two games.
