Campaign for Calif. businesses invokes ‘Terminator’ theme

A new Nevada economic development campaign to lure away more California businesses will invoke a popular movie line delivered by actor turned California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The theme of the Nevada campaign will reportedly be: "Will your business be terminated?"
The tongue-in-cheek reference to the "Terminator" films is designed to highlight California's comparatively high cost of doing business. It comes in response to an August visit to Las Vegas by the governor to launch California's campaign to lure back businesses.
The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada and the Las Vegas-based Nevada Development Authority are partners with the state on the $650,000 campaign scheduled to debut next week.
