Letter: U.S. becoming a theocracy
Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004 | 9:17 a.m.
I truly hope that alert, honest Americans are noticing an insidious and frightening trend during and following the Nov. 2 election. This trend is a subtle movement that is pushing America into becoming a theocracy.

You will be seeing more and more censorship of the public airways.
And you will witness the passing of the school voucher program that will destroy the public school system and benefit the church-run schools.
To paraphrase Thomas Jefferson, I suggest people remember that vigilance is the price of freedom and democracy.
