Clark High School has released football coach Carlton Lamb after two consecutive winless seasons.
Lamb was in his fourth season at Clark, and athletic administrator Wilfredo Rivera said he expects to have a decision on Lamb's replacement next week. Six candidates have applied for the Clark vacancy.
"It's a difficult place to work, especially in football," Lamb said.
Lamb said he hopes to find an assistant's job somewhere closer to his home in northwest Las Vegas.
