StumbleFire Station 28 opens in Summerlin

Fire Station 28 at 10820 W. Sahara Ave., dedicated on Friday, was built as part of a cooperative agreement with the Howard Hughes Corp., which provided the land, building design and construction of the 9,837-square-foot facility.
The building itself is configured as a three-bay station and contains a dormitory, kitchen, training room, workout room and a room for cleaning medical equipment. It houses a captain, an engineer, two firefighters, one paramedic and one emergency medical technician.
