Because of an error by the Sun, a story in Tuesday's Metro section incorrectly reported that Edward Kammer gave an alias when he was booked into jail. Kammer, the general manager of the Del Mar motel, did not give an alias. Police said the night manager of the hotel gave an alias and was booked as "John Doe." The Sun regrets the error.
Because of an error by the Sun, a story in Wednesday's edition incorrectly stated that President Bush told Nevadans that he would not ask Congress to change the radiation standard for the Yucca Mountain project. He did not specifically say that. What he said was, "I will allow this process to be appealed to the courts and to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and I will stand by the decision of the courts and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission." The Sun regrets the error.
The Sun corrects its errors. If you find a mistake, call 385-3111 to report it.
