Child porn suspect held

Metro Police arrested a 41-year-old man on 25 counts of possession of child pornography after the manager of a northeast Las Vegas mobile home park told police he asked several boys to take photographs of each others' genitals.

Brian Handusek was also charged with two counts of child abuse and endangerment and is being held in the Clark County Detention Center in lieu of $256,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

Handusek "admitted to being a pedophile," the arrest report says, but "he stated he preferred males over the age of 10."

According to the arrest report, the manager of the Silverado Mobile Home Park at 3401 N. Walnut Road near Las Vegas Boulevard North and Cheyenne Avenue called police Friday and said two boys, ages 8 and 9, said they had photographed each others' genitals at Handusek's request.

The 9-year-old and another boy told police they took photos of themselves wrestling naked in Handusek's trailer, the police report says, and that Handusek let them play with an unloaded gun.

The 8-year-old told police he took photos of his own genitals with a Polariod camera, and that Handusek showed pornographic Web sites featuring naked women to him and other boys.

When interviewed by police, Handusek said he allowed other boys, ages 15 and 16, watch the Playboy channel in his trailer.
