Argu works
"Remembering Mexican Revolutionary Heroes," featuring works by Mexican artist Argu, will be displayed through today at Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive. Admission is free. 455-7340.
Bat exhibit
"Bats! Champions of the Night Sky," a new exhibit of the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society, will open with a carnival from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at 700 Twin Lakes Drive in Lorenzi Park. The exhibit continues until December 2006. Admission is $4 adults, $3 seniors 55 and over. 486-5205, ext. 120.
Photography exhibit
The Sun City Summerlin Photography Club will presents its 5th annual exhibit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Desert Vista Community Center, 10360 Sun City Blvd. Admission is free. 233-9363.
'Legacy of Giving'
The Liberace "Legacy of Giving" exhibit opens with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Liberace Museum, 1775 E. Tropicana Ave. The exhibit will continue indefinitely. Admission is $12 general, $8 seniors and students, free for children 5 and under. 798-5595.
Sketches of Zion
Pen and ink sketches from Zion National Park by artist Leigh Neibaur will be displayed at the Lost City Museum until the end of November. The museum is located in Overton on State Route 169, exit #93. Admission is $3 adults, $2 ages 65 and above. 397-2193.
'Heroes'

'Slumber Party'
"Slumber Party," a series of recent works by Tom Everhart, will be displayed at the Grand Canal Shoppes of the Venetian Hotel until Nov. 16. Admission is free. 866-6813.
'Faceted Journey'

'Celebrating Life!'
The winning artwork from the 2004 "Celebrating Life!" fine arts competition for senior artists, age 50 and up, is on display at the Bridge Gallery at City Hall, at the corner of 4th Street and Stewart Avenue, until Jan. 21. Admission is free. 229-4674.
'Our Daily Bread'
Five artists whose work addresses food consumption will be featured in the exhibit "Our Daily Bread" until Saturday at the Contemporary Arts Collective, 101 E. Charleston Blvd., Suite 101. Admission is free. 382-3886.

Traveling exhibit
"Pattern Wizardry: Making the Power of Patterns," the newest exhibit at the Lied Discovery Children's Museum, runs until Jan. 2 at 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Admission is $7 adults, $6 children 1-17, seniors and military families, free for children under 1. 382-3445.
Umholtz exhibit
Artist Tom Umholtz will display "11 Woman, 2 Men & a Baby's Hand" until Nov. 30 at the Las Vegas office of the Nevada Arts Council, 821 S. 7th St. Admission is free. 486-3700.
'Pursuit of Pleasure'
The Guggenheim Hermitage Museum at the Venetian is hosting an exhibit, "The Pursuit of Pleasure," which includes such artists as Picasso, Rodin, Rubens, Beckmann and Velazquez. Admission is $15 adults, $12 seniors and Nevada residents, $11 students with ID, $7 children 6-12, free for children under 6. The exhibit continues until Jan. 16. 414-2440.
'Creative Spirit'
The Las Vegas Art Museum, 9600 W. Sahara Ave., will display the "Frederick Hart, American Sculptor: Creative Spirit" exhibit until Nov. 14. Admission is $5 adults, $3 seniors, $2 students 13 years and older, free for children 12 and under. 360-8000.
Inaugural exhibit
"Dennis Hopper: Billboards and Photographs," the inaugural exhibit for the Godt-Cleary Gallery's second exhibition space, Godt-Cleary Projects, at 1217 S. Main St., continues until the end of November. Part of the exhibit will also be on display at Godt-Cleary's Mandalay Place gallery. Admission is free. 632-9378.
