Priscilla Schwartz-Hodes, whose charity work ranges from endowing scholarships to knitting robes for hospice patients, has been honored for her philanthropy.
Schwartz-Hodes, a registered nurse, built in her husband's memory the Walter L. Schwartz Center for Compassionate Care at Nathan Adelson Hospice, where she sits on the board of directors and regularly volunteers.
The Jewish Family Service Agency of Las Vegas recognized Schwartz-Hodes during its annual fundraiser gala at Temple Beth Sholom in Summerlin.
