Limneo 'MP' Aguila
Limneo "MP" Aguila, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in New Mexico. He was born Oct. 6, 1945, in the Philippines. A resident for one year, he was a physician.
He is survived by his wife, Nimfa; two sons, Alex Aguila and Anthony Aguila, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Rosalio and Leonora Aguila, and three sisters, Thelma Sta. Maria, Aleli Ong Ante and Sylvia Gutierrez, all of the Philippines.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson.
Tony Cocco
Tony Cocco, 55, of Las Vegas died Oct. 23 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 23, 1949, in Stubenville, Ohio. A resident for 24 years, he was a food and beverage manager.
He is survived by two daughters, Leslie Gardner and Danielle Stonestreet, and his friend, Arthur Harrington, all of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Frank V. Gorichar
Frank V. Gorichar, 79, of Pahrump died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 3, 1925, in Milwaukee. A former Las Vegas resident for 11 years and most recently a Pahrump resident, he was a retired retail owner-operator and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, David Gorichar and Gary Gorichar, and one daughter, Susan Brackin, all of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Franklin Lane
Franklin Lane, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1936, in Lake Village, Ark. A resident for 28 years, he was a heavy equipment operator for the federal government and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Freddie Mendoza Sr.
Freddie Mendoza Sr., 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 28, 1950, in New Mexico. A resident for 32 years, he was a security officer and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Freddie Mendoza Jr. and Victor Edward Mendoza; one daughter, Melissa Diaz; one sister, Lulu Rowe; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Patricia Ann Smith
Patricia Ann Smith, 66, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born April 7, 1938, in San Francisco. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William R.; one daughter, Sherri Ann Foster of Henderson; one son, Guy Steven Smith of Tucson; one sister, Joyce Cruz of Fremont, Calif.; one brother, Gary Sullivan of California; and two grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Eugene C. Strohlein
Eugene C. Strohlein, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Irvington, N.J. A police officer and a World War II Navy veteran, according to his family he was the best husband, best friend and best family man.
