Aaron D. Adams

Aaron D. Adams, 36, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a Los Angeles hospital. He was born April 22, 1968, in East St. Louis, Ill. A resident for 11 years, he was an iron worker and a member of Iron Workers Local 433.

He is survived by his mother, Katrina Adams of Hawthorne, Calif.; his father and stepmother, Thomas W. and Theresa Adams, and two brothers, Thomas W. Adams II and Sean Adams, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Letta Adams of Hawthorne; two stepbrothers, Malcolm Adams of Palmdale, Calif., and Albert McCoy of Las Vegas; and his grandfather, John Black of East St. Louis.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.

Joel Aronstein

Joel Aronstein, 47, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 25, 1956, in New York. A resident for 25 years, he was a dealer.

He is survived by one son, David Aronstein; his father, Manuel Aronstein; two brothers, Howard and Marc; and two sisters, Amy and Beth.

Neptune Society of Las Vegas, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Carl J. Bradford

Carl J. Bradford, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 25, 1923, in Plymouth, Ind. A resident for 21 years, he was a sales representative and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Pamela Miller and Jody Bradford, both of San Carlos, Calif., and Lisa Bradford of Henderson; three sons, Mark Bradford of Palmdale, Calif., Kirk Bradford of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Michael Bradford of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Indiana. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Vivian Brenner

Vivian Brenner, 85, of Las Vegas died March 14 in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 5, 1918, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 10 years, she was a legal secretary.

She is survived by one son, Terry Klein.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive.

Samuel Farber

Samuel Farber, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 29, 1920, in Montreal. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired designer of women's apparel for Dainty Apparel of Montreal, the first televised magician in Montreal, wrote a jazz column for Orchestra World magazine and was a member of B'nai B'rith of Montreal.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances, and two sisters, Ella Bernstein and Dora Fain.

He is survived by one son, Jerry Farber of Las Vegas.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

The family suggests donations to the Jewish National Fund, 78 Randall Ave., Rockville Center, NY 11570.

Samuel H. Freedman

Samuel H. Freedman, 87, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 9, 1916, in Baltimore. A resident for four years, he was a retired assistant regional commissioner for the federal government and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam E. Goldstein-Freedman; one son, John Freedman of Redlands, Calif.; one daughter, Nancy Freedman of Miami; one sister, Annette Rosen of Irvine, Calif.; and one brother, Hyman Freedman of Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Services will be in York, Pa. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Neil Heywood

Neil Heywood, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 25, 1914, in Panguitch, Utah. A resident for 63 years, he was a retired electrician, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and served a mission to the Washington, D.C., LDS Temple.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmonetta, one daughter, Elaine Murry, five brothers, John Boyd, Arterbury Boyd, Gardiner Boyd, Reid Boyd and Joseph Boyd, and three daughters, Ruevo Crafts, Jessie Van Zanten and Maude Sandall.

He is survived by five daughters, Loris Davis and Judy Thiriot, both of Las Vegas, Jean Slocum of Auburn, Calif., Janice Creer of Provo, Utah, and Cheryl Zobrist of Sandy, Utah; one sister, Edna Knight of St. George, Utah; 26 grandchildren; and 62 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Thursday at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George.

David George Hoare

David George Hoare, 49, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. An owner-operator of a sales business, he was born Oct. 20, 1955, in London.

He is survived by one sister, Lorraine Curry of London.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Bruce 'B.J.' Jones

Bruce "B.J." Jones, 55, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 11, 1948, in Summit, N.J. A resident for 12 years, he was a retail sales agent and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth C. Errett of Henderson; one daughter, Denise Marie Pearl of Brentwood, Calif.; one son, Matthew Alex Jones of Las Vegas; and one grandson.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Frankie Patterson

Frankie Patterson, 56, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 12, 1948, in Augusta, Ga. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta; one daughter, Alberta L. Patterson of Las Vegas; one son, Eric Patterson of Henderson; his mother, Rosa Patterson of Waynesboro, Ga.; and two brothers, Ernest Patterson and David Patterson.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Robert Pechnik

Robert Pechnik, 76, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 18, 1928, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired railroad wire chief and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Elizabeth Mello of Reno and Debra Leary of Norman, Okla.; one son, Robert K. Pechnik of Reno; two stepdaughters, Lori Ponce and Gayle Ward, both of Fallon; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Rufus Sagmeister

Rufus Sagmeister, 83, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 23, 1920, in Wisconsin and was a Navy veteran.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Barbara Schachet

Barbara Schachet, 67, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born June 24, 1937, in New York City. A resident for 12 years, she was an executive director of Valley Outreach Synagogue, a member of Hadassah, the Bronx Club and Drum Corps International Mothers.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; one son, Alan Zalkind of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; two daughters, Lori Dahl of Brentwood, N.H., and Deborah Morrissey of Chelmsford, Mass.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be noon today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Facunda H. Tadeo

Facunda H. Tadeo, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 27, 1929, in Cuba. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired schoolteacher.

She is survived by three nieces, Alicia Reyes, Alina Gonzalez and Julie Ott, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

William Voshell

William Voshell, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1929, in Baltimore. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired UMC pharmacist and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, Rodney Voshell of Las Vegas; one sister, LaRue Joseph of Baltimore; and two grandchildren.

Services and burial will be in Baltimore. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
