Florence M. Andrade
Florence M. Andrade, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. She was born Dec. 17, 1913, in Los Angeles. A resident for 73 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Beatrice Rivera, and two sons, Guadalupe Andrade and Pedro Salas, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Rose Martinez, Sally Armijo and Delia Flores, all of Los Angeles and Virginia Bown of Missouri; one brother, Rudy Lopez of Mission Hills, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Church services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to St. Francis of Assisi, 10075 S. Eastern Ave., No. 114, Henderson, NV 89052.
Dorothy E. Hartman
Dorothy E. Hartman, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born June 21, 1918, in Denver. A resident for 42 years, she was a retired casino cage cashier.
She is survived by one son, John Hartman of Las Vegas.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Tom Hudson
Tom Hudson, 68, of Las Vegas died Oct. 5 in Pahrump. He was born in San Pedro, Calif. He was a tenor saxophone player and most recently a string base player who toured with various jazz groups. He also worked as a sound engineer on cruise vessels in the Caribbean, Broadway show road companies and worked at the Dunes, Caesars Palace and other local showrooms.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Sterling Jr. of Elkhart, Ind., and Robert William Chapman of Hollywood, Fla.; one sister, Mary L. Hudson of Sausalito, Calif.; and one granddaughter.
Burial will be at sea. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, handled arrangements.
Eugene Arthur Rash
Eugene Arthur Rash, 46, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 5, 1958, in Massachusetts. A resident for 31 years, he was a laborer.
He is survived by his companion, Donald Barraco; one daughter, Maegan DuBoise; one brother, Chrystal Rash; and one sister, Jeanette Rash.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Rudolph Raukar
Rudolph Raukar, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. A retired public school athletic director and a World War II Army veteran, he was born April 8, 1916, in Virginia, Minn.
He is survived by one daughter, Roberta R. Berger, and one son, Paul S. Raukar, both of Las Vegas.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Miro Uglesic
Miro Uglesic, 89, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 29, 1915, in Croatia. A resident for 10 years, he was retired.
Visitation is scheduled noon-1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
