Vegas conference on Iraq set

Small businesses interested in bidding on subcontract work in the U.S. effort to rebuild Iraq can obtain information at a conference Wednesday and Thursday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The conference is being sponsored by the U.S. Army and will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Small business owners can meet with six prime contractors that will help to rebuild Iraq and hear from Army experts about the contract-bidding process.
Construction and non-construction contracts are available for bids. Registration costs $150 per person. To register and view the conference agenda, visit www.sellingtoarmy.com. Walk-in registrations will be accepted.
